FABRIC FAULTS AND BROWN GLUE POINTS ON ROOF UPHOLSTERY...

5) THE FABRIC USED AT ROOF LINING AND WHOLE UPHOLSTERY IS FAULTY...

This is another indication of poor lining material chosen by Peugeot. The term "poor" doesn't refer to the poorness visually, it means that the fabric used as interior roof upholstery is too thin, weak and almost as much as transparent to conduct glue which is applied wrongly, resulting in a lot of brown spots on the roof fabric. The structure is also grooved and slotted which lets you see a lot random dark spaces when you look at roof fabric, and the most annoying thing is brown gluing faults appearing on surface. It's not fixable on replacement as new poor roof lining fabric is used on the new part, too.

Still there's no recognition and a recall on this part also, by Peugeot!

WATER LEAKING RIGHT BELOW BONNET FROM WASHER JETS!

4) WATER LEAKING RIGHT BELOW BONNET FROM WASHER JET SEATING POINT!

This is one of the most annoying and incredible design fault of Peugeot regarding to absence of 1-dollar cost rubber seal which has to be placed under front washer jets to prevent liquid leak over the engine unit. The washer jets are placed on the bonnet instead of next to front windscreen. This design choice is bringing such problem which is letting water/rain to drop below bonnet, thus the engine gets wet. In the pictures of unleaded fuel model (VTI), the water is dropped over the accu unit, and over the cover of engine oil. A piece of seal-rubber has to be placed under washer jets by design, but there isn't. This is a "serious" problem that can lead more problems as having a water in engine can cause any kind of failure especially on electrics.

DIRT / WATER COMING IN THROUGH 3RD BRAKING LAMP...

3) 3rd BRAKING LAMP on BOOT LID IS GETTING WATER/DIRT THROUGH THE EDGES!

As you can see, there is a 3rd braking lamp over the boot lid. This lamp was built outside the read boot area instead being kept inside. This built type of this lamp actually brings more problems than the design choice. When you wash your car, or when your area gets some raing pouring, some water and dirt are penetrating to the edges of lamp, to the press point of the lamp it's impossible for owner to remove/extract them out of there. Mine was changed under warranty but the new one had the same issue.

DOOR SEALS ARE BEING TORN...

2) EXTERIOR DOOR SEALS ARE EASILY BEING RIPPED OFF AND TORN FROM THE CONNECTION/WELDING POINTS...

This is another "common" and annoying material problem created by choice of Peugeot's material engineers. Unlike most of other cars in the world, Peugeot seem to have decided to build exterior (wind/and also water) door seals by such a type connecting each other. The worse, the seal parts aren't welded gently, instead they seem to have been combined just by some "glue", or a lousily heating themselves which is not effective on adhesion, and they're being torn / ripped off easily after a while of purchase with some effect of the sun and water. So the result is like in the pictures above. We're in they year of 2016.

REAR WASHER PIPE BREAKAGE

1) REAR WASHER PIPE GETS BROKEN AFTER A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME DUE TO WRONG AND WEAK MATERIAL CHOSEN BY PEUGEOT.

This is a common problem with Peugeot 208 models having "polypropylene" spiral pipe which is usuall uncommon for hatchback models used to conduct water from water tank under hood to the rear windscreen washer, connected to main pipe. It's about 8 mm diameter.
